Summer Learning
Here are several great resources for practice over the summer. One is book adventure, the other extra math. I have xtra math set to continue through August. If you need log-in info again, let me know. They have a new program allowing the kids to work at 6 seconds rather than 3! (If you need help changing to that, let me know)
Book Adventure is a website that I have used with students since my first year teaching 2002. It is an AR style program. There are not as many books/quizzes, but it will encourage you to make your trips to the public library. You need to set up an easy, free account and then you can get started reading and testing over books. (There used to be an option to earn real prizes from their sponsors.... but that's been years ago. Might be something to look in to.)

End of the Year Shop
Thursday we will have an end of the year shop for the kids to spend the last of their dojo points. If you have any little prize style gifts at home looking for a new home, feel free to send them in. One kids trash is another's treasure! Sorry, I know this is the stuff you dig out of their rooms when they aren't looking!
tadpoles
We have tadpoles in the classroom. If you would like some for your very own, send in a container and I'll share. They are easy to care for and fun to watch grow into frogs.
